FEES:$70 for Boise residents and $105 for
non-residents + $20.00 material fee (includes all
ceramic tile, glue, grout, base material, etc.).
INSTRUCTOR: James Turner, who has been
leading and instructing workshops for 6 years.
He has taught over 150 students at the Art
Center in the past two years alone!
CLASS CONTENT: The beginner/intermediate
class covers the basics of ceramic tile mosaic:
material choice, tools, tile cutting and shaping,
jointing, gluing, grouting, finishing, etc. with
discussion concerning mosaic history, styles,
design, layout, and structural aspects. It also
includes demonstrations by James, much
individual instruction, lots of studio time, and a
great project designed and created by you! Most
of all it's a lot of FUN!

| THE OUTDOOR INSTALLATION WORKSHOP WAS A SMASHING SUCCESS! The piece is up at Fort Boise and it looks great! Congratulations to Molly C., Molly H., Mike, CeCe, Nancy, Janie, Amber, Jereme, Allison, Jean and Anna. If not for these students' hard work, team effort and willingness to learn, this workshop could have never worked. A huge Thank You goes out to Alton Dean of Sepeltude Art for donating the killer stainless steel frames. Unions? YES!
